Overview and Who Should Attend?
A theoretical and practical training course to ensure that persons using steps and ladders do so having considered all other safer means of access and that they are suitably aware of the hazards associated with using steps and ladders.
Anyone who is either using or managing those likely to use ladders and steps.
Aims and Objectives
- To ensure delegates understand the risks associated with step and ladder work
- To ensure delegates can adequately inspect ladders and steps prior to use
- To ensure delegates can position ladders and steps in a safe manner
- Above all to ensure delegates understand the limitations of ladders and steps and use them in accordance with current best practice
